Westerville, Ohio – Boosted by a record-breaking performance from sophomore
Ava Robey, Otterbein Women's lacrosse took a lead over Baldwin Wallace, securing a 17-9 victory inside Memorial Stadium on Friday afternoon.
Robey broke the program's single-game assist record by registering six assists. This achievement surpassed the previous record held by four former players each tied with five assists.
Carly Rigel wasted no time, scoring a goal just 19 seconds into the game and setting the stage for the Cards, who then scored seven goals in the opening quarter. This offensive dominance applied pressure on the Yellow Jackets, leading to a 7-3 scoreline by the end of the first quarter.
During the second period, the Yellow Jackets managed to score four goals, reducing the deficit to just two points. However, the Cardinals swiftly regained their momentum and surged ahead with an impressive 7-2 run spanning the second half.

- Baldwin Wallace recorded six turnovers which the Cardinals took advantage of by converting them into seven goals in the first quarter.
- Otterbein went 22-27 on clears and 2-6 on free position shots
