Quotes
  • Senior Amanda Troyer on the team's 3-0 start to the season: "It feels good to see all of our hard work from the preseason paying off, but we have a long way to go."
  • Troyer on facing an early season test: "To face a team like Illinois Wesleyan and see what we're capable of gives us something we can build off of as we move forward."
  • Head coach Monica Wright on her team's performance: "Illinois Wesleyan has been a great program for the last 10 to 15 years. We watched them yesterday and thought we were going to have some great matchups and that it would be a battle. It was a sweep, but it was a really competitive three sets, and I thought we earned a lot of really tough points, which is what we're going to have to do all year in our tough non-conference schedule and the tough OAC as well. This was a great win for us. Illinois Wesleyan is going to do great things, and hopefully a battle like this will help us somewhere down the road."
