ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – The Otterbein cross country teams traveled west on Saturday to compete in the Augustana Interregional Invitational, hosted at Saukie Golf Course. The meet featured strong regional and national competition from across Division III.
In the men's DIII Gold 8,000-meter race, senior Payne Ratliff led the Cardinals with a 39th-place finish, clocking a time of 25:11 in a field of 339Â runners.
On the women's side, freshman Kate Thormeier paced Otterbein in the DIII Gold 6,000-meter race, placing 73rd overall with a time of 23:12 among 349Â competitors.
Otterbein will now turn its attention to the upcoming OAC Championships, set for November 1st.
