DAYTON, Ohio – Members of the Otterbein University cross country teams competed in the Wright State Wild Bill Invitational on Friday. It marked a final tune-up for a few Cardinals as the teams head into the OAC Championship race next Saturday.
The women's 5K race saw sophomore
Brenna Lay take fifth, running a time of 18:44.4. Both
Abby Kobs and
Rachel Ziel competed in the women's race as well. Kobs clocked a 19:46.0 and Ziel finished with a 20:24.9.
Junior
Caleb Rafferty led the men's squad in the 8K race, finishing with a time of 25:53.9. Senior
Drew Osler finished in eighth, clocking a 26:25.4.
Tucker See was 13th with a 27:17.4, as Brannon Mosler was 16th with a 27:23.5.
Also running for Otterbein was
Joshua Porter (27:56.6),
Spencer Grace (28:23.1),
Easton Miller (29:53.3), and
Brady Williams (29:58.1).
Next Saturday, Otterbein will host the 2025 OAC Cross Country Championship race. The women's race will take place at 11 a.m. while the men's race is set to begin at noon.
