Hanover, Indiana – Otterbein football traveled to Hanover College and fell, 49-8. After winning the Oar last week against Capital, the Cardinals faced a strong Hanover team.
In the fourth quarter, Anderson Hyland intercepted a pass to set up a seven-play, 57-yard drive that resulted in Otterbein's only touchdown of the game.
Quarterback Brayden Bayles connected with Christian Patkay for a 30-yard touchdown pass, and Patkay added the two-point conversion on the ground.
Eliyah Mason led the defense with eight total tackles, followed by
Jeremiah Smith with five.
The Cardinals will close out the season next Saturday, Nov. 15, at Memorial Stadium against Ohio Northern University.
