Robey, Glenn score 2 goals each as Women's Lacrosse falls at Wooster

WOOSTER — Junior Ava Robey and sophomore Alyssa Glenn scored two goals each as the Otterbein women's lacrosse team fell 17-4 at Wooster on Wednesday.

Game Highlights
  • First Quarter: Wooster outscored Otterbein 7-0 in the quarter and took that lead into the second period.
  • Second Quarter: Otterbein opened the scoring in the second quarter with a goal from Robey assisted by Glenn. After Wooster answered, the Cardinals scored again courtesy of Glenn on a man-up opportunity, making the score 8-2 with 7:49 left. The Scots closed the quarter with three straight goals to take an 11-2 edge into halftime.
  • Third Quarter: Wooster scored the first two goals of the third quarter, but Glenn found the back of the net with 2:01 left, sending Otterbein into the fourth trailing 13-3.
  • Fourth Quarter: Robey scored 42 seconds into the final period, but Wooster closed out the game with four unanswered goals en route to the 17-4 win.

  • Robey is the Otterbein women's lacrosse program's all-time leader in assists (90). Robey has a team-high 22 assists this season. She has 69 goals and 159 points in her career.
  • Glenn has a team-high 36 goals this season. She has 85 career points on 76 goals and nine assists.
  • Nance is a two-time OAC Goalkeeper of the Year and is Otterbein's all-time career leader in saves (540).
  • Head coach Brooke Delara is in her second year at Otterbein and has an all-time record of 11-15 at the helm of the Cardinals.
  • Otterbein and Wooster last played in March 2022 with the Scots coming away with a 22-15 win in Wooster.
