ADA — Senior Dom Dean recorded a hat trick to lead the Otterbein men's lacrosse team in a 15-8 loss at Ohio Northern in Ohio Athletic Conference play on Wednesday night.

• First Quarter: Each team scored one goal in the opening quarter. ONU scored with 5:56 left, and Andrew Lewis tied the score with a goal with 4:10 remaining.
• Second Quarter: The Cardinals scored the first two goals of the second quarter, both coming from Dean. The first was assisted by Andrew Lewis and the second was assisted by Rainone, putting Otterbein up 3-1 with 11:01 left. The Polar Bears outscored the Cardinals 4-1 over the final 9:47 of the quarter, though, to take a 5-4 halftime lead. Otterbein's goal in that span came from Graham on an assist from Regruth.
• Third Quarter: ONU scored the first goal of the second half, but the Cardinals scored the next two goals to tie the score at 6-6 with 11:28 left. Graham scored the first goal on an assist from Mulligan, and Dean scored the second goal, his third of the game, on an assist from Graham. The Polar Bears closed the quarter with a 4-1 scoring run over the final 9:19 to take a 10-7 edge into the fourth. The Cardinals' goal in that stretch came from Rainone.
• Fourth Quarter: ONU outscored Otterbein 5-1 over the final 15 minutes en route to the win. The Cardinals' fourth-quarter goal came from Luther on an assist from Bussard with 6:56 left.
• Key Team Stats: ONU out-shot Otterbein by a 51-27 margin, and the Polar Bears finished with a 46-19 edge in ground balls. ONU won 18 of the 27 faceoffs. Otterbein committed 24 turnovers to 19 for Ohio Northern.
