Chilcote leads men's tennis in match with Rhodes

GAMBIER, Ohio – Jake Chilcote's dominant week continued into Sunday, leading the Otterbein University men's tennis team in a 6-1 loss to Rhodes. 

Rhodes won the doubles point, but the Cardinals earned a 6-1 victory at No. 1 doubles. Chilcote and partner Nikita Kitaev knocked off Thornberry and Fellrath of Rhodes for the lone Otterbein win in doubles action. 

At No. 4 singles, Chilcote grinded out a tough victory for Otterbein. He won his match by a 7-5, 6-4 decision. He finished the week with a 2-1 record in singles play. 

The men's tennis team returns to action with the women's team on Feb. 22 with a match at The College of Wooster, beginning at 9 a.m.
