Dolan, Cormell earn NWCA Scholar All-America status

WESTERVILLE – Two members of the Otterbein University men's wrestling team were named to the NWCA Division III Scholar All-American list. Logan Cormell and Luke Dolan were each recognized with the honor.

Cormell, a 174-pound senior, placed eighth at this season's NCAA Regionals. Winning 19 matches this year, he won four via falls and recorded a team-high six major decisions.

Dolan had an impressive sophomore campaign at 157, leading the team with 26 wins and eight technical falls. Of his 26 victories, 12 came by fall. The Nursing major was Otterbein's highest placer at NCAA Regionals, taking seventh.

To be eligible for the award, one must either place in the top eight in the regional tournament or wrestle at least 15 matches and hold a winning percentage of 66 percent or better. In the classroom, one must hold a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or better.
