WLAX to take on Baldwin Wallace in OAC Tournament

WESTERVILLE, Ohio – After locking up the No. 3 seed for this week's OAC Tournament, the Otterbein University women's lacrosse team will head to the No. 2 seed Baldwin Wallace on Wednesday.The Cardinals are making their first OAC Semifinal appearance since 2024. The winner of Wednesday's semifinal will play in the championship game on Saturday, May 2. 
SCOUTING No. 3 OTTERBEIN (OAC): Ava Robey and Leela Henry sit 1-2 atop the OAC statistics in points, with Robey's 95 points leading the conference. Henry, a freshman, has added an OAC-best 51 goals and 79 points.

Junior midfielder Alyssa Glenn has been a force all season long on both sides of the ball, leading the Cardinals with 51 caused turnovers, 62 ground balls and 81 draw controls. She also sits third on the squad in points, adding 41 goals and 10 assists.

SCOUTING No. 2 BALDWIN WALLACE: (11-3, 5-1 OAC): Clare Alic set a new Baldwin Wallace scoring record in the final regular season game, now with 160 career goals. Alic has scored 50 goals on the year and has controlled 59 draws for the Yellow Jackets. Baldwin Wallace is riding a six-game win streak headed into Wednesday, with their last loss coming on Mar. 27.

When the two teams met on Apr. 11, the Yellow Jackets outscored Otterbein 5-0 in the fourth quarter to steal the win at Memorial Stadium. Baldwin Wallace's Hayley Huston scored five goals to lead all players in the game. Otterbein was led by a six assist effort from Ava Robey and a four goal, one assist afternoon by Alyssa Glenn. Glenn led all players by recording nine draw controls in the loss. 

In the second semifinal game, Mount Union hosts Ohio Northern. The winners from Wednesday will square off at the highest remaining seed on Saturday with a game time TBD.
