No. 17 men's soccer draws at Denison

GRANVILLE, Ohio – A late goal by (RV) Denison saw the No. 17 Otterbein men's soccer team draw with the Big Red, 1-1. 

As the teams traded opportunities, the Cardinals got on the board late in the first half. Sean Markland served a ball where freshman Tyler Norman headed it past the Denison keeper, flipping over the Big Red defender for an acrobatic finish. With the score, Otterbein took a 1-0 lead into halftime. 

The Cardinals were unable to build their lead, despite 10 shots in the second half. Denison's Henry Gallum scored the equalizer in the 87th minute.

Otterbein held the advantage in shots (15-9) and corners (8-3).

On Tuesday, Otterbein heads to DePauw University for a 7 p.m. kickoff.
