Dezwan (Dez) Polk-Campbell begins his second season with Otterbein in the fall of 2022, helping coach the outside linebackers.
A 2017 graduate of Purdue University, Polk-Campbell was a three-year letterman and 4x Academic All-Big Ten selection (majoring in law and society) for the Boilermakers . The 6-foot-3, 220-pound linebacker played under the tutelage of Marcus Freeman, now the defensive coordinator at Notre Dame.
Polk-Campbell enjoyed a standout career at Columbus Whetstone High School, earning first team All-City honors while also excelling in track and field. After college, he returned home to serve two years as an assistant coach at his alma mater.
Polk-Campbell now works full-time as a security operations manager at Google. He and his fiancée, Alex, live nearby with their children Delilah, Maliah and Jordan.
