Otterbein University Athletics

Jimmy Carpenter begins his first year as a student-assistant coach for Otterbein, helping guide the offensive line.

Now a senior, Carpenter played one season for Otterbein (2015) as a backup defensive lineman before choosing to gain coaching experience. He recently spent the 2016 and 2017 seasons overseeing the defensive line at his alma mater, Fairbanks High School.

A native of Ostrander, Ohio, Carpenter is majoring in sport management and is on track to graduate in the spring of 2019.
