Tony Peters enters his second year as an assistant coach at Otterbein in the fall of 2022, helping guide the kickers and punters.
 
Peters, an all-league punter for Olentangy High School, furthered his punting career at The Ohio State University during the 1979-80 season. He then began coaching at Upper Arlington High School from 1989-94, followed by a second stint from 2009-18.
 
After graduating from Capital University, where he coached the kicking game from 1995-97, Peters transitioned to Marion-Franklin High School to serve as special teams coordinator. He also holds experience at Gahanna Lincoln.
 
In May of 2021, Peters completed his master’s degree from Ashland University. He is now an intervention specialist at Columbus Scioto 6-12 school.
 
Peters and his wife, Mary, have two children; Courtney and Connor. They both attended Ohio State as well.
