Darrell Miller begins his 12th year as an assistant at Otterbein, and has had the privilege of working under three different head coaches. A 1979 graduate of Otterbein, Miller was a four-year player for the Cardinals while earning bachelor's degrees in Business Administration & Political Science. He later went on to receive a master's degree from The Ohio State University in Sports Administration and Coaching in 1981.
Miller, the co-founder of Aqua Science, Inc. and The USA Sports Academy in Columbus, Ohio, has recently been awarded a minor league basketball franchise in the Central Basketball Association. The Columbus Condors inaugural season will get underway March of 2016.
He and his wife, Shawn, reside in New Albany and have two children; Madi, a 2015 Otterbein graduate and four-year letterwinner in women's basketball, and son Darrell III (Trey), who was a two-year letterman from 2014-16 as a member of the men’s basketball team.
