Andrew Meyers enters his second season as the graduate assistant for Otterbein men’s lacrosse in 2019-20.
Meyers, a recent 2018 graduate of Carthage College, arrives to Otterbein after a strong playing career for the Red Men. A defensive middie and face-off specialist, he was a 2x All-CCIW selection and voted the league’s Defensive Player of the Year in 2017.
Part of two CCIW championship teams, Meyers graduated with school records for career ground balls per game and face-off percentage in a season. He competed in a pair of NCAA Tournaments as well.
Meyers, who is also a four-time member of the Ireland National Team, holds coaching experience at Blue Valley High School (in Kansas) along with the Midwest Top Gun club program.
A native of Overland Park, Kansas, Meyers received his bachelor’s degree in history and political science. He is now working toward his master’s in allied health.
