Ryan Gossett enters his third season as a lead assistant coach for Otterbein Men’s Lacrosse in 2024, having spent the previous two in a graduate assistant role.
Gossett played two years for Division II Wheeling Jesuit before transferring to Division II Lincoln Memorial University, where he played in 43 of 44 games throughout four years as a defensive midfielder. He also competed in the USBOXLA National College Box Series across two summers for both the Redhawks (Colorado College Box Lacrosse League) and Aviators (Ohio College Box Lacrosse League).
Gossett also has coaching experience at his alma mater, Wheeling Central Catholic High School, helping guide them to a 2019 WVSLA State Championship. In addition, he coaches club for Natural Lacrosse.
A native of Wheeling, West Virginia, Gossett received his bachelor’s degree in history and then a master’s in Business Administration from Otterbein in 2023.
