Eric Stucky begins his third season as an assistant coach for the Otterbein men's soccer program in 2022, having spent the previous two as a graduate assistant.
Stucky, a 2020 grad, was a four-year letterman and three-year starter in the midfield for the Cardinals. He was a team captain and 2x honorable mention All-OAC selection, playing in 73 career matches and helping the program to a combined record of 48-25-3 during his stretch.
As a sophomore, Stucky was part of the decorated OAC regular-season and tournament championship team that went 19-3 overall and made the NCAA Sweet 16 in Chicago. That year, he scored the game-winning goal in the tournament final as Otterbein ultimately finished No. 11 in the national rankings.
Also a standout in the classroom, Stucky graduated magna cum laude after compling a 3.81 GPA as a marketing major. He was a 3x Academic All-OAC performer, along with securing Academic All-Ohio honors, and made the Dean's List all but one term. To conclude his career, Stucky was a 2020 recipient of the Dick Reynolds Service Award from the Athletic Department.
A native of Brecksville, Ohio, Stucky now resides locally in Westerville and completed his master's in business administration while a GA.
