Patrick Shick enters his second season as a graduate assistant for the men's soccer program.
Shick, a 2008 graduate of Otterbein, was a four-year letterman for the Cardinal men's soccer team while receiving a Bachelor's degree in Sport Management.
On the pitch, Shick appeared in 55 career matches, starting 25, en route to nine goals and three assists. He finished second on the team in scoring during his junior and senior seasons.
Shick worked as a Facilities Intern for the Jerome Schottenstein Center after graduation before taking over as the head coach for Ohio State University's women's club soccer team from 2009-11.
The Buckeyes won two Midwest Alliance Soccer Conference tournament championships under Shick, qualifiying for the national tournament three times. The team won the consolation bracket in 2011.
In addition to his time at OSU, Shick has served as a Sales and Marketing Assistant for Capital Recovery Systems, Inc.
A 2004 graduate of Olentangy High School, Shick was the Orange's leading scorer, team captain, and Most Valuable Player during his senior season.
He enjoys running marathons and spending time with his girlfriend, Kimmie, in his spare time.
Shick lives in Clintonville with his four-year old Boxer, Roma.
