Mary Corbett

Mary Corbett returned to Otterbein full-time in 2019 as lead assistant coach for the women's basketball program.
 
A 2015 Otterbein graduate, Corbett comes back to her alma mater after spending one year away working at TekSystems. She spent two years as Otterbein's graduate assistant coach from 2016-18 following one at Maine Maritime Academy in Castine, Maine. She also holds AAU coaching experience with the Capital City Comets.
 
A four-year varsity letterwinner in college, Corbett played the first two years of her career at nearby Ohio Wesleyan University, from 2011-13, before transferring and playing the final two seasons as a Cardinal. She was voted team captain as a senior and set Otterbein’s single-season record for best free-throw percentage by making 52 of 57 (.912).
 
Corbett, who averaged 10 points per game throughout her 48 games in a Cardinal uniform, was named OCC Player of the Year and captured all-district honors during her run at Upper Arlington High School. She holds the school-record with a 49 percent three-point percentage as a senior.
