Meghann Dunning begins her second year as a graduate assistant coach for the Otterbein women’s basketball program in 2021-22.
A recent graduate of nearby Ohio Wesleyan, Dunning was a four-year letterwinner for the Battling Bishops on the hardwood while earning a degree business administration and marketing. She played in 101 games for OWU during her college run, with 54 of those being in the starting lineup.
Dunning tied for 11th in the North Coast Athletic Conference in assists per game as a senior, as Ohio Wesleyan finished 14-13 and made the second round of the NCAC Tournament. The Bishops saw a 13-win improvement over the final two years of her career.
A native of Mentor, Dunning made the Dean’s List at OWU every year, was named a Top 50 Varsity Student-Athlete and also made the NCAC’s All-Academic Honor Roll three times. She served as an administrator for the Ohio Wesleyan football program, conducting campus tours for recruits and coordinating game-day setup.
Dunning is working toward her master’s in business administration (MBA) while serving at Otterbein.
