Marinda Fries begins her third season as an assistant coach for the Otterbein volleyball program.
Fries returns to Otterbein after spending the 2010 season with the Cardinals as a volunteer assistant coach. Prior to coaching, Fries enjoyed a four-year playing career as a co-captain and setter for Otterbein.
In 2014, Fries earned her master's degree in speech-language pathology from Miami (OH) University.
Fries, who works as a speech-language pathologist for Olentangy City Schools, currently resides on the north end of Columbus with her husband, Andy, an assistant coach on the football team. The couple recently welcomed a baby girl, Maddie.
