Megan Mills entered a new stint with the Otterbein Volleyball program in 2021, returning to the staff following two years as a graduate assistant coach from 2018-20. During her time as a GA, she helped guide the Cardinals to a combined 47-16 record, a share of the OAC regular-season title and an appearance in the NCAA Division III Championships.
 
A 2017 undergraduate of fellow Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) school Heidelberg University, Mills was a four-year volleyball letterwinner from 2013-16 as a defensive specialist. She helped lead the Student Princes to 87 wins, a pair of OAC Championships (2013/2015), two NCAA tournament appearances (2015/2016) and surpassed 1,000 career digs during her run in Tiffin.  
 
After ending her volleyball career, an eager Mills played women’s lacrosse for the newly-formed Heidelberg program during the final semester of her senior year. She finished third on the team in goals (7) and draw controls (11) while also snagging 21 ground balls.
 
A native of nearby Dublin, Ohio, Mills received her undergraduate degree in communications and then her master's degree in allied health administration. She now works as a personal trainer and nutrition specialist.
