Mantell, a senior from Hilliard (Bishop Ready H.S.), turned in a solid showing at the NCAA Cross Country Regionals over the weekend in helping lead the Cardinals to a 14th-place finish as a team. Thirty-five schools ran at the event.

Mantell earned All-Great Lakes honors as a result of his performance, covering the 8,000-meter course in an even 26:00 to finish 29th out of 252 overall runners. Otterbein's team finish marked a significiant jump from last year's 28th-place result.
