Beachy, a junior shortstop from Springboro, hit .357 last week and helped the baseball team go 3-1 in a pair of OAC doubleheaders.

Beachy hit two home runs and had six RBI in the second game against Muskingum, and then had another two-run game as the Cards bested Heidelberg, 4-3, over the weekend. His second blast hit the foul pole in the seventh inning to put Otterbein ahead for good.
