Saturday afternoon, Otterbein took the field to play Albion (MI), and battled in a scoreless first half that saw neither team able to capitalize on any opportunities.
Jimmy Niemann then broke the scoreless tie and scored what would be the game-winner in the 60th minute off a shot from the right side, giving his team a 1-0 win.
Otterbein goalies Dave Dziedzicki and Alex Kamphaus each allowed two goals on the weekend while splitting time evenly. Both keepers also recorded five saves.
The Cards next return to action next Saturday when they host Urbana. First-kick from Clements Field is set for 2 p.m.
