WESTERVILLE, OHIO - Otterbein, now 14-4 on the season and 1-1 in the Ohio Athletic Conference, turned back Wooster and conference foe John Carroll in three games each this past week.
Otterbein opened the week with a three-game victory over Wooster, winning 25-20, 25-21, and 25-23.
Freshman Annie Juenger led the way with 12 kills on 27 chances while senior Rayna Coleman tacked on 11 kills on 27 attempts as well.
Sophomore Ally Nagle buried eight kills on 18 attempts to hit .444 for the match, while junior libero Lindsey Russell had 28 digs.
The team then traveled to University Heights to take on John Carroll, and turned back the Blue Streaks in three games by totals of 25-20, 25-22, and 25-13.
Sophomore Kisten Bennett posted seven kills on 15 total attempts, whil Nagle tallied ten kills, with four errors, on 18 attacks.
Sophomores Stephanie Buckwald and Lizzy Flynn combined for 29 of the team's 39 assists, with Russell totaling 16 digs.
Sophomre Lydia Wynkoop tallied 13 assists over the two matches this week after returning to action for the first time since September 14 due to medical reasons.
The team returns to action Tuesday, traveling to take on Muskingum. Starting time is set for 7 p.m.
