The Muskies currently sit alone in sixth place in the conference standings, while the Cards are positioned in a tie with Marietta. The top six team's make the postseason conference tournament.
The Cardinals struck first, scoring 20 minutes in when senior midfielder Byron Horton ripped a shot from 35 yards out and saw it maneuver past the Muskie keeper.
Muskingum rebounded quickly, however, and found a goal of their own just five minutes later to even the game at 1-1.
The match would head to halftime locked at 1-1, and the second half saw no scoring as it would progress to an extra session.
Neither of the two overtime periods were enough to break the tie as the match would end at 1-1.
Otterbein will look for a victory to help stay alive for postseason play on Wednesday, returning home to host Wilmington for senior day. Horton and fellow senior Mike Townsend will be recognized before first-kick, which is slated for 3:30 p.m.
