WESTERVILLE, OHIO—Cornerback Anthony Korpieski, a senior from Westerville (Olentangy High School), was selected Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) defensive player of the week, the OAC released Monday.

Korpieski made two interceptions in Otterbein’s 49-14 win over Muskingum last Saturday at homecoming. He leads the OAC with five interceptions and ranks 12th in NCAA Division III this season. The senior sits fifth on the team with 31 tackles, including 25 unassisted.

The Cardinals, 4-3 overall and 3-3 in the OAC, is scheduled to host league-leading Mount Union, 1:30 p.m., Saturday in Memorial Stadium.
