ALLIANCE, OHIO - Otterbein volleyball (24-5, 8-1 OAC) rallied from two sets down to defeat Mount Union and clinch second place in the final OAC regular season standings.

The Raiders stormed out of the gate to take the first set 25-16, and held off the Cardinals in set two, 27-25.

Down but not out, Otterbein battled back and escaped with a 25-23 victory in set three to stay alive.

The Cards stayed poised in an intense fourth set, and eventually pulled out a 27-25 win to force a fifth and final set. 

With the match on the line, the Cards squeezed out a 17-15 victory to come away with a hard-fought victory.

The win matches the program's single-season record of 24, set last season by a group that finished 24-9 overall. As a result, the Cards will be the #2 seed in the upcoming Ohio Athletic Conference tournament, and will host a quarterfinal match Tuesday evening.
