WESTERVILLE, OHIO - Otterbein, now 17-4 overall and 3-1 in the Ohio Athletic Conference, defeated conference foe Baldwin-Wallace and Allegheny in three games each Saturday afternoon in the Rike Center.
The Cards opened by turning back the Jackets by scores of 25-22, 25-17, and 25-20.
Senior Rayna Coleman helped lead the way with 11 kills, and just two errors, on 25 total attempts, while sophomore Ally Nagle posted nine kills on 17 chances.
Annie Juenger and Kristen Bennett each chipped in with eight kills, while libero Lindsey Russell came up with 23 digs.
Sophomore setters Lydia Wynkoop and Lizzy Flynn teamed for 33 assists.
Otterbein then handled Allegheny in three straight games by marks of 25-20, 25-22, and 25-20.
Nagle and sophomore Michelle Gernert tallied 11 and ten kills, respectively, while Bennett recorded nine kills on 15 attempts.
Freshman Emily Caldwell had 15 digs while Renee Willke and Gernert helped with 14 and 11, respectively.
Wynkoop and Flynn combined for 35 of the team's 37 assists in the match.
The team returns to action Tuesday evening, traveling to Ada for a crucial conference matchup with Ohio Northern. Starting time is slated for 7 p.m.
