WESTERVILLE, OHIO - Otterbein (1-0) cruised to a three game victory over visiting Denison Wednesday evening in the Rike Center, winning games by scores of 25-13, 25-14, and 25-23. 

Sophomore Ally Nagle led the Cardinals with ten kills on 18 attempts while fellow sophomore Michelle Gernert and Kelly Montgomery each posted seven kills. 

Freshman middle hitter Liz Palmer registered six kills, five block assists, and one solo block in her program debut.

Sophomore Lydia Wynkoop dished out all but one of her team's assists, finishing with 32 on the night.

Junior Lindsey Russell, fresh off her record setting season of 774 digs, tallied 24 to begin the fall campaign. 

The team departs Thursday morning to take part in the Colorado College Tournament, opening against La Verne (CA) Friday at noon, local time.
