WESTERVILLE, OHIO - Seventh-ranked Otterbein picked up a 2-0 victory against visiting St. Mary's Friday afternoon on day one of the Otterbein Tournament.

The Cards struck less than 90 seconds in, as freshman Abby Misch made her way to a ball coming down in the box and put it into the right side of the net for the early advantage. It was her second goal of the season.

The contest headed to halftime with Otterbein holding a 1-0 advantage.

Junior Adrienne Novak pushed the margin to 2-0 in the 59th minute after maneuevering through the St. Mary's defense and depositing a shot into the upper left portion of the goal for her second score of the fall campaign.

The Cards held a dominant 37-0 shot advantage, and attempted ten corner kicks compared to none for the Belles.

Otterbein returns to action Saturday afternoon, hosting Kalamazoo (MI). Game time is slated for noon.
