WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Otterbein University evened its season record at 7-7 Thursday evening, posting a runaway 14-3 victory over visiting Wilmington College.
The Cardinals tallied nine goals in the first half, four coming from leading-scorer Tori Blatt, and maintained the advantage in the second en route to victory.
Blatt finished with five goals (a game-high) and three assists, while freshman Annie Kelly had two scores to go along with a game-high four assists.
Alyss Johnson and Megan Burless also notched two scores each for the Cards.
Otterbein outshot Wilmington 31-11 and won 14 of the 19 draw controls.
The Cardinals will conclude their regular season Saturday with a Noon contest against Concordia University (Wisc.). Otterbein’s lone senior, Chelsea McKeehan, will be recognized prior to start time.
