Box Score WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Otterbein University volleyball team improved itself to 5-1 in Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) play Tuesday evening, walking away with a straight-set win at Wilmington College.
The victory, coming by scores of 25-13, 25-12 and 25-19, helps the Cardinals keep pace atop the league standings in a three-way tie with Mount Union and John Carroll.
Otterbein had little trouble with Wilmington (2-23, 0-6 OAC), hitting .283 on the night as a team and holding the Quakers to an even .000 percentage.
Senior Kendel Kellogg finished with a match-high 10 kills while freshman middle Morgan Lowenkamp had nine. Both hit over .400 on the night individually.
Sophomore Lauren Blumberg handed out 35 assists up front at the net, handling the setting duties by herself in the absence of senior Kayla Radekin.
Otterbein, now 14-11 overall this season, will end the week at home against Baldwin Wallace University on Saturday. Start time is scheduled for noon.
