Both sides played to a scoreless first half, with Otterbein goalkeeper Mack Stamper making a critical save in the 44th minute to keep the contest scoreless entering the break.
The Cardinals saw a few chances to score in the second half of play, but shots from Jaden Lunger and Jared Pulliam were blocked and another couple sailed high.
