WESTERVILLE, Ohio – The Otterbein University men's lacrosse team tallied its fourth-consecutive victory Wednesday evening, routing the College of Mount St. Joseph by a score of 17-5 inside Memorial Stadium.

The Cardinals, now 4-1 on the season, will face a stiff test to end the week by traveling to Albion College for a 2 p.m. contest Saturday afternoon.

Otterbein put Mount St. Joseph away early on in the game, scoring 11 goals in the first quarter and never looking back. Junior Robbie Guiliano, the reigning Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Offensive Player of the Week, tallied five points in the opening period himself.

The Cards scored just one goal in the second quarter, and were able to get their reserves extended action throughout the second half in coasting to the win.

Freshman Connor Dziewit scored a season-best five goals while Guiliano ultimately ended the night with six points (four goals, two assists). Brandon Stroup scored once and handed out a game-high three helpers.

Carlos Salazar was almost perfect at the faceoff-X, winning his first nine opportunities before narrowly losing his last attempt of the game. He rested the entire second half.

Otterbein out-shot the Lions 52-23 on the night and picked up 41 ground balls, compared to just 17 for MSJ. The Lions were led by three goals from Pat McClanahan.
