Playing in its fifth straight OAC Tournament, Otterbein proceeded to defeat fifth-seeded Mount Union 18-13 in the first round on April 26 as Dean recorded three points on two goals and one assist. That marked the Cardinals' first OAC Tournament victory since 2021.
An All-OAC Honorable Mention selection in 2024, Dean has 48 points on 29 goals and 19 assists this season. He leads the team in assists and ranks second in goals and points. He is currently tied for eighth in the OAC in assists.
A transfer from Bellarmine University, Dean has 98 points on 63 goals and 35 assists in 30 career games, including 29 starts, at Otterbein over the past two seasons.
