Box Score 2 FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Otterbein University volleyball team split a pair of matches Saturday at the Franklin University Tri-Match, taking down Manchester before falling to the host Grizzlies.
The Cardinals, now 8-7 on the fall season, will be back in action Wednesday night with a 7 p.m. home matchup with cross-town rival Capital University.
Otterbein quickly downed Manchester to begin the action by scores of 26-24, 25-21, 25-12. Sophomore
Morgan Lowenkamp led all players with a match-best 13 kills on 20 attempts, committing just two errors in the process for a .550 hitting percentage.

Andrea Miller handed out 30 assists for a group that hit .267 all-together.
Otterbein unfortunately fell to Franklin in the second outing of the afternoon, losing by counts of 24-26, 25-16, 22-25, 21-25. Lowenkamp again led the way with 18 kills on a season-high 49 attempts, while also adding four total blocks, and Maddy Shelly contributed 11 kills herself.
Miller distributed a new season-best of 46 assists and libero
Gracie Staten finished with 22 digs. Miller had a double-double by adding 10 digs while
Brenna McNally came up with 26 of her own.
