Box Score GAMBIER, Ohio – The Otterbein University men's soccer team fell to No. 9-ranked Kenyon, 3-1, in its second non-conference matchup of the regular season.
With the loss, the Cardinals fall to 0-2, while Kenyon improves to 2-0 on the young season.
Josh Kellner inked the scoreboard first for the Cardinals in the 20th minute, heading in a corner kick from
Ross Pfeil. The goal was the first of Kellner's 2015 campaign.
The Cardinals maintained their one goal lead through the halftime whistle, before heading into the locker room with three total shots to Kenyon's 11.
Otterbein defended its one score advantage through the first 16 minutes of the second half, before Kenyon tied the game at one goal apiece on a penalty kick from Tony Amolo.
Amolo tallied the decisive goal for the Lords in the 64th minute on a Jeon Woo assist, before Aaron Salm sealed the win for Kenyon with a score of his own in the 83rd minute of action.

Lukas Swysgood combined for six saves on the night for the Cardinals.
Kenyon finished with a 22-7 shot advantage, earning four corner kicks to Otterbein's two. A total of 27 fouls were called between the two teams.
The Cardinals return to action on Sunday afternoon at Wittenberg. First kick is set for 1 p.m. in Springfield, Ohio.
