ALLIANCE, Ohio – The Otterbein women's soccer team played to a scoreless draw at Mount Union on Saturday afternoon in its regular-season finale, clinching the No. 4-seed in next week's Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Tournament.
The Cardinals (10-5-2 overall) conclude the regular season with a 5-3-1 record in league play, and will host fifth-seeded Baldwin Wallace on Tuesday night in a quarterfinal matchup at Memorial Stadium. Kickoff time has yet to be determined.
Shots were aplenty throughout the entire game as the two teams combined for 29 shots, as the Purple Raiders finished with a 6-4 advantage is shots on goal. The Cards held a commanding 9-1 margin in shots at the break, pairing that with a 5-3 lead in corner kicks.

Andrea Pohlman was stellar in goal with five saves in the frame. The game progressed to overtime despite both teams firing two shots apiece over the final 10 minutes of regulation.
A total of five shots were tallied between the two squads over the course of the extra 20 minutes of play, but to no avail, as both defenses were to credit for the scoreless affair.
Pohlman finished with six saves in 110 minutes of action in goal for the Cards, while Raider goalkeeper Paige Freel also went the distance stopping four shots. Senior

Alyssa Spencer followed with four of her own.
