WESTERVILLE, Ohio – The Cardinal women's cross country team claimed victory at the annual Otterbein Invitational for a third-straight year Saturday morning, finishing in the top spot amongst the field of 20 schools.

The Cardinals, winning the event for the third-straight season, placed four runners inside the top-10 and topped second-place Kenyon by 26 points with a team score of 46.

Otterbein was led by a trio of sophomore standouts, watching Heather Sandvik cross the line in second (23:05), Claire Lamb finish just behind in third (23:11)  and then classmate Katy Foltz turn in a sixth-place individual result (23:35).

Senior Alex Winter cruised past the finish line in ninth-place (23:49), while classmate Kierra Lathrop rounded out the top-five finishers for the Cards with a 26th-place finish (24:53).
