TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - Otterbein sophomore Sarah Scarborough delivered a strong performance at the NCAA Division III Championships on Saturday, capping an impressive season on the national stage with a 105th-place finish.

- Scarborough is the Cardinals' first national qualifier since Allison Currey in 2019. Currey placed 165th that year with a time of 23:17 at Tom Sawyer State Park in Louisville, Ky.
- Scarborough closed the season as the Cardinals' top finisher in each race she competed in.
- The Cardinals ran the LaVern Gibson Course earlier this season at the Pre-Nationals meet on Oct. 4, and Scarborough placed 29th overall with a time of 22:15.
- Scarborough's career-best time is 21:24, which she posted as the runner-up at the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships on Nov. 2.
