CLEVELAND, Ohio- Otterbein men's soccer ended its non-conference schedule today, falling to Case Western Reserve, 2-0. With the loss the Cardinals fall to 6-3 on the season, while the Spartans improve to 5-3-2.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Cardinals and Spartans played to a first half draw as neither team could get their offense started.
- Otterbein managed seven first half shots, with the Spartans firing off 10 of their own.
- Collin Hoffmann made one save in the first, while Spartan goalie Jackson Kallen was called on twice.
- Case Western got on the board at 57:42 when Seldon Magruder streak past the Cardinal defense and scored on a pass from Zachary Senft.
- The Spartans scored again at 70:45 on a cross from the right of the box, this time Connor Weber found Nathan Ekberg for the header.
- The Cardinals never found the back of the net, taking 15 total shots.
- Hoffmann made four second half saves for the Cards. Â
