Men's Soccer Dominates Adrian to Collect Sixth Win

ADRIAN, Mich.- Men's Soccer remains unbeaten on the season after a 3-0 win over the Adrian Bulldogs on Saturday afternoon. The 19th-ranked Cardinals dominated just about every category en route to their sixth win of the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • Junior captain Liam Heard got the Cards on the board first early in the 19th minute with a goal in the lower-left corner; Will Isaac collected the assist.
     
  • Otterbein added another tally in the first when Carter Ely scored in the early stages of the 32nd minute.
     
  • The final goal of the afternoon came in the 49th minute when Will Isaac took matters into his own hands, beating the goalie in the upper left corner.
 
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
  • The Otterbein offense has scored 18 goals in six wins; they out-shot the Bulldogs 18-0.
     
  • Eleven of the Cardinal's shots were on target.
     
  • The Cards also held a 9-0 advantage in corner kick chances.
     
  • Adrian only held an advantage in Yellow Cards and Fouls.
     
  • Andrew McIlvoy enjoyed the day off with Casey Thompson and Payton Smith each playing a half in goal.
UP NEXT:

Otterbein will play on the road three more times before returning home; their next road trip will be a short one to Granville to take on Denison; Game time is set for 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
