FINAL RESULTS

ALLIANCE, Ohio – The Otterbein women's track and field team walked away with a fifth-place finish in the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Indoor Championships this weekend at Mount Union, chalking up a strong handful of podium results in the process.

NOTABLE RESULTS:

• Gracie Dennison continued leading the charge with three podium finishes. She won the title in the 60-meter hurdles after scooting 8.84 in the finals, ranking top-15 nationally and remaining in line to compete at the NCAA Championships.
   
• Dennison also took third in the 60-meter dash by running 7.88 and ran with the runner-up 4x2 relay, which also consisted of Lydia Baumgartner, Emma Klosterman and Coree Gifford. That quartet teamed for a season-best 146.86, coming in one second behind Mount Union.
   
• Klosterman opened the day with a bang, clearing 5-6 (1.68m) in the high jump to set a new indoor school record and likely for nationals. Her mark was good enough for second place in the meet.
   
• Klosterman also took fifth in the triple jump (10.18m) and sixth in the long jump (5.23m).
   
• Megan Carey joined Dennison on the podium in the 60H, running 9.22 in the final showdown to snag a medal herself.
   
• Gifford took fifth place in the 500 meters at 1:21.61, while Cassidy Shaver corralled the same amount of points after going 2:23 in the 800.
   
• The 4x4 relay of Gifford, Shaver, Brooke Caldwell and Brooke Hamilton settled in fifth at 4:16 and change.
   
• Dennison also scored in the 200 meters by crossing in seventh place.
   
• Otterbein had three of the top-10 finishers in the high jump, with Carey (9th) and Amanda Radke (10th) also joining the fun.
