WESTERVILLE, Ohio – For the first/only time this outdoor season, the Otterbein women's track and field team was able to sleep in their own beds and compete on campus in hosting the annual Twilight Meet across Friday afternoon… and well into the evening.
The Cardinals welcomed double-digit schools participating in the event, which saw a nice crowd come out and support on a beautiful day of weather. Notable results below!
- Gracie Dennison won the 100-meter hurdles in a time of 14.51, just .006 seconds off her school record and besting the field of 22 individuals. She improved on that mark Saturday morning over at the Jesse Owens Classic (Ohio State), where she chalked up a 14.46 and moved up to 11th nationally.
- Mackenzie Davis delivered a runner-up effort in the 1500 meters, running 4:55 and change to cross second in the field of 23.
- Coree Gifford (1:02) was seventh in the 400 meters while teammates Angela Maio (800) and Halle Bentley (5K) posted eighth-place results.
- Manaka Yamauchi was fifth in the 400 hurdles.
- Madi Brokaw was third in the high jump and Amanda Radke landed, figuratively and literally, in the top-half of the long jump field. She hit the sand at 4.70 meters.
- Emma Klosterman registered 10.06 meters in the triple jump and Peyton Carpenter also had a second-place mark in the javelin (29.49 meters).
- Ravyn Goodson competed in a variety of throws, taking tenth in the shot (10.21m) amongst a deep field that included multiple D2 athletes.

Otterbein will send Dennison over to the Jesse Owens Classic (Ohio State) on Saturday while turning full attention to the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships the first week of May at Baldwin Wallace.
