The Game
  • The Cardinals wasted no time, as just a minute into the game, senior Nick Isaac managed to get a shot off and earn a corner soon after. Otterbein made four attempts before finally scoring.
  • Sophomore Josh Lord connected with graduate student Drew Holman at the 50-yard line. Holman then delivered a lob pass to the 20-yard line. Boettcher found the drop and managed to fend off a lone defender and send a lob over the Muskingum goalie's head to score the first goal of the match in the 17th minute.
