Women's Indoor Track and Field sets personal records, earns fourth place at Muskie Meet #2

NEW CONCORD —The Otterbein women's indoor track and field team set multiple new personal records as they secured a fourth-place finish at the Muskie Meet #2 on Saturday.

  • Venue: Bullock Health and Wellness Complex - New Concord, Ohio
  • Otterbein finished fourth out of 16 teams with 43 points, while Ohio Northern claimed the team award with a total of 219 points.

Otterbein's Top Performers - Running Events
  • Women's 500 Meters - Junior Rachel Bollo and freshman Mallory Bostick getting a new personal-best placed third and fourth with times of 1:24.24 and 1:25.55.
  • Women's 60 Meters - Freshman Natalie Nichols placed fifth with a time of 8.23 seconds and set a personal best in the prelims with a time of 8.20 seconds.
  • Women's 3000 Meters - Senior Kierstin Knell and Maggie Poor finished fifth and sixth in the 3000-meter run with new personal-best times of 11:27 and 11:27.70
  • Women's 1 Mile Run - Senior Alyssa Mattis placed fifth in the 1-mile run in a new personal-best time of 5:17.53
  • Women's 800 Meters - Freshman Maggie Moon placed seventh in the 800-meter run in a new personal-best time of 2:34.82
  • Women's 60M Hurdles - Junior Charlie Dolliver placed eighth in the 60-meter hurdles prelims with a time of 9.98 seconds and qualified for the finals but did not compete.
  • Women's 5000 Meters - Freshman Kennedy Helton placed eighth in the 5000-meter run in a new personal-best time of 20:40.65
  • Women's 400 Meters - Senior Brooke Hamilton placed 25th in the 400-meter run in a time of 1:12.88
  • Women's 200 Meters - Junior Kayla Bruce finished 34th in the 200-meter run with a time of 30.59 seconds.
  • Women's 4 x 400M Relay -The relay team of Bollo, freshman Mallory Bostick, sophomore Assir Yisrael, and Nichols placed fifth with a time of 4:24.81.
Otterbein's Top Performers - Field Events
  • Women's Shot Put - Freshman Anastasia Smith, sophomore Landry Driskel and senior Peyton Carpenter finished in fifth, sixth and seventh place, respectively, all setting personal-best marks of 11.82m (38'9.50"), 11.55m (37'10.75"), and 11.37m (37'3.75")
  • Women's Long Jump - Dolliver placed 11th with a best mark of 4.71m (15'5.50") 
  • Women's Weight Throw - Sophomore Amelia Dailey and senior Ravyn Goodson finished 12th and 13th with marks of 13.04 (42'9.50") and 12.98m (42'7").  
  • Women's High Jump - Dolliver placed 13th in the high jump with a height of 1.41m (4'7.50")
Notables
  • Goodson ranks second on the program's all-time weight throw leaderboard with a mark of 14.44m achieved in 2024.
  • Dailey is tied for fourth on the all-time weight throw list with a mark of 13.69m, and freshman Kendra Detillion is tied for ninth with a mark of 12.46m. Both of those marks were set earlier this season.
  • Dolliver ranks seventh on the program's all-time triple jump leaderboard with a mark of 10.44m achieved in 2024.
