Dolliver leads Women’s Indoor Track and Field to third place at Joe Banks Invitational

ADA - The Otterbein women's indoor track and field team placed third at the Ohio Northern Joe Banks Invitational on Friday. Junior Charlie Dolliver led the way for the Cardinals with a pair of top-four finishes, including a win with a career-best mark in the triple jump.

The Basics
  • Venue: ONU Sports Center - Ada, Ohio
  • Otterbein finished third out of seven teams with 73 points. Ohio Northern claimed the team title with 271 points, while Wilmington was second with 77 points.

Otterbein's Top Performers - Running Events
  • 400 Meters - Senior Brooke Hamilton placed second with a time of 1:11.51.
  • 4x200M Relay - Freshmen Mallory Bostick and Gabby Park and juniors Kayla Bruce and Rachel Bollo finished third with a time of 1:59.82.
  • 60 Meter Hurdles -  Dolliver placed fourth in 10.08 seconds, while Bruce finished seventh in 11.40 seconds.
  • 1 Mile Run - Freshman Brenna Lay finished fifth in 5:36.34, followed by sophomore Kierstin Knell in seventh (5:43.20) and sophomore Ava Stratmann in eighth (5:45.80).
  • 3000 Meters - Senior Alyssa Mattis placed fifth with a time of 11:58.37.
  • 4x400M Relay -  Bollo, Dolliver, Mattis and Lay placed fourth with a time of 4:37.00.
  • 800 Meters - Freshman Maggie Poor finished fifth in 2:39.25, just ahead of Knell, who placed sixth in 2:39.44.
Otterbein's Top Performers - Field Events
  • Triple Jump - Dolliver placed first with a mark of 10.51m.
  • Shot Put - The Cardinals took four of the top eight spots. Freshman Anastasia Smith led the way, placing fourth with a mark of 11.95m. Freshman Tori McGowan was fifth (11.81m), senior Peyton Carpenter was sixth (11.69m) and sophomore Landry Driskel was eighth (11.31m).
  • Long Jump - Park finished fourth, clearing 4.38m.

All-Time Otterbein Rankings: 

  • Dolliver now ranks fifth all-time in the triple jump with a mark of 10.51m, topping her previous best of 10.44m set in 2024. She is also second all-time in the pentathlon (2634 points, 2025).
  • Senior Ravyn Goodson ranks second in weight throw (14.44m, 2024).
  • Sophomore Amelia Dailey is tied for fourth in weight throw (13.69m), while Detillion is tied for ninth (12.46m), both set this season.

OAC Standings:

  • Dolliver leads the pentathlon (2634 points) and is fourth in the triple jump (10.51m) and eighth in the 60m hurdles (9.83 seconds).
  • Mattis holds fourth in the mile (5:14.42).
  • Bollo is sixth in the 500m (1:23.18), followed by Bostick in seventh (1:24.48).
  • In the 5000, Kennedy Helton ranks sixth (20:31.23), and Rachel Ziel is eighth (20:38.24).
  • Carlisha Bell ranks eighth in the triple jump (10.11m).
  • Smith (11.95m) and McGowan (11.81m) rank eighth and ninth, respectively, in the shot put.
  • Goodson ranks 10th in the weight throw (13.94m).
